I am a highly skilled and experienced clinician with strong ethics. My patients receive high quality, comprehensive dental care. Along with being compassionate and caring, I have a strong believe in giving back to the underserved population in the community. My dental career encompasses different aspects of dentistry like teaching at a dental school and managing a private clinic, while overseeing and training staff. Patient education is also a very important aspect. My main mission has always been patient care first. Treatment of patients is performed according to the latest evidence based, updated skills. This ensures that the patient's long term oral health is maintained. To make all this possible, the entire dental team, including Dental Assistants play a vital role. The team is what allows us to best serve the patient.

I was born in Mexico and was raised here in Ventura County. I attended Santa Clara High School and received my bachelor's degree in Zoology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I was blessed to attend and attain my degree of Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley. I became an Optometrist so that I may provide the caring and personalized Optometric services that our unique, and often under-served, population of Ventura County deserves. Clinicas del Camino Real allows me to satisfy my personal and professional goals. It has been truly gratifying to serve our patients over the past years.

I feel fortunate to be a primary care provider and be at the forefront of preventive medicine. I believe in a holistic approach to health and work with my patients to help them lead a healthy, disease-free life. I also keep myself up to date with the latest guidelines and practice evidence-based medicine.
Outside of work I love spending time with my husband and our 4-month old daughter. We moved here from the North East and we are looking forward to exploring California.
