What is Urgent Care?
CAREPLUS Urgent Care centers are designed to handle non-emergency situations and to connect you to the care you need. By visiting a CAREPLUS Urgent Care center, you are guaranteed to get the help you need as quickly as possible.
If you require immediate care, but your illness or injury is not life-threatening, visit one of our centers today.
When Should I Visit Urgent Care?
Urgent Care is the best choice when your illness or injury needs proper attention but isn't severe enough for the emergency room.
Urgent Care vs Emergency Room: What's the Difference?
Think of Urgent Care as a convenient halfway point between your primary care provider and the emergency room. It's a walk-in Health Center, readily available when you need it.
Benefits of Walk-In Urgent Care
Urgent Care offers flexible hours - including weekends and evenings - to fit busy schedules. Whenever primary care providers are unavailable, Urgent Care exists to fill the gap.
What to Expect during an Urgent Care Visit
To prepare for your visit, please be sure to bring:
- Photo ID such as your driver's license, California identification card, or a passport
- Insurance card if you have one
- A list of current medications
What happens during the appointment?
Your visit begins with questions about your symptoms and health history, followed by a focused examination.
