I am passionate about the specialty of Family Medicine. I specifically enjoy focusing on preventative medicine, obstetrics, musculoskeletal care, including osteopathic manipulative medicine, as well as general and pediatric medicine. I am committed to being a well-rounded general family physician who cares about the overall health and well-being of individuals of all ages.
I was born in Egypt but was raised in North Carolina and Virginia. I received my medical degree from the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete my residency in San Bernardino County here in California. I have now been living in California for the past 8 years and love it here with no plans of ever leaving. I truly enjoy my job, providing services to women and educating them about their healthcare needs. I believe that one of our most important roles as healthcare providers is to educate our patients so that they may participate actively in their own treatment plan and care. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking, and going to the beach.
I have been a licensed Chiropractor since 2009 and have been freeing people from pain since 2008 in the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. I use a "whole person approach" when taking care of my patients. By combining the very best hands-on techniques, state of the art physiotherapy procedures, I am able to help you accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health. I have treated various conditions from back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain, sciatica, ankle/foot pain, muscular tightness and tension. I have had great results and success in treating these various conditions. I strongly feel that keeping the body free from subluxations through chiropractic care and living a prudent, well-oriented lifestyle, can significantly boost the bodys natural restorative powers.
I am a culturally competent therapist. My specialties are Pediatric, Adolescent and Family therapy and my theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic and Family Systems. I focus on client empowerment and coping with mental health issues. I am a proud recipient of the Fulbright and International Peace Scholarship.
Going to the dentist can be a stressful experience for many, but I hope to make the experience as warm and welcoming as possible. As my patient, you can expect thorough and gentle care that addresses your specific needs and wants. My goal is to create a treatment plan that is conservative and realistic. I aim to work with my patients to help them achieve their healthier, happier selves because all good moments start with a smile.
My passion is to make a positive impact on a patient's life and assist them with preventative measures so as to live the healthiest life possible. I am dedicated to working with the underserved population and am proud to work in the community I grew up in.
