Personal Statement:
I am a clinical psychologist experienced in working with diverse populations. I have provided therapy in both community outpatient clinic and private practice. I am skilled in working with a range of mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, relationship problems, attachment disorders, recovery from trauma, abuse, grief and loss; ADHD adoption trauma, adoptive parenting, and parenting children who have special needs or have multiple diagnoses. I enjoy teaching parents how to connect with their child. I am trained in a variety of treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, sand tray and art therapy, and a whole-person/whole-family perspective. I appreciate connecting the individual to the collective and vice-versa. Overall, I enjoy helping people reconnect with themselves and their loved ones so they may find peace and meaning in their lives.
