Silvia Gonzalez, LCSW, is is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker fluent in English and Spanish at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. Silvia earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree with an emphasis in Community Corrections Case Management from San Diego State University. She then completed her Master of Social Work degree at California State University, Long Beach.

Bringing a wealth of experience in mental health support, Silvia has worked extensively with students and at-risk populations, including homeless and foster youth. Her professional background spans crisis intervention, home visits, linkage to services and resources, group facilitation, classroom presentations, and safety planning. Additional expertise includes care coordination, biopsychosocial assessments, clinical interventions, discharge planning, and utilization review for psychosocially and medically complex patients, ensuring continuity of care and successful outcomes.

Silvia is passionate about creating a warm and safe space where clients feel heard and supported. Her therapeutic approach is strength-based and person-centered, with a focus on empowering individuals to gain insight into their unique needs and goals while fostering resilience and fulfillment. She enjoys working with diverse populations using a culturally responsive approach, and her preferred modalities include Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
