Anthony Lopez, AMFT, is a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. He is passionate about providing culturally sensitive, patient-centered care to individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate life’s challenges and achieve emotional well-being. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands and later completed a Master of Science degree in Psychology with a specialization in the bilingual Marriage and Family Therapy program at Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles. This advanced training prepared him to deliver therapeutic services in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for diverse communities.

Under the supervision of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Anthony provides individual, couples, and family therapy for culturally diverse clients. Responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting clinical progress. He also facilitates psychoeducational and process groups for adults and adolescents (ages 12–35) addressing sexual offense prevention, parenting, anger management, and emotional regulation.

Anthony believes life can be challenging and often overwhelming, but no one should face it alone. In his practice, he emphasizes respect, honesty, and trust to create an environment where hope can be found even in the most difficult circumstances. He values cultural sensitivity and strives to create a tailored experience that honors each client’s values and boundaries. From anxiety and grief to relationship issues, his goal is to help clients overcome obstacles, build resilience, and strengthen personal growth.
