
Saul Medina, OD is a detail-oriented and compassionate Doctor of Optometry at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. Dr. Medina is dedicated to patient education, ocular disease management, and achieving excellent visual outcomes. A Southern California native, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, before completing his Doctor of Optometry degree at Marshall B. Ketchum University’s Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Dr. Medina brings extensive clinical experience providing comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages. He has managed ocular conditions including dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). His background includes serving in a private practice located in a low-income area where he cared primarily for Spanish-speaking and Medicaid patients. He is also skilled in performing foreign body removals and anterior segment evaluations using slit lamp biomicroscopy.
Dr. Medina’s approach focuses on taking the time to listen to his patients’ concerns and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for at every visit. He emphasizes the importance of patient education to help individuals make informed decisions about their vision and eye health. Excited to be part of a team dedicated to improving the visual health of patients, Dr. Medina strives to make a meaningful impact through compassionate care. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his loved ones and watching sports, especially the Lakers.
