Virginia Bauer, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to compassionate, high-quality Mental Health Care, emphasizing collaboration and integrative support at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and earned her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. Virginia is currently advancing her skills by pursuing a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy at the JFK School of Psychology and Social Sciences, National University, in Oxnard, California. 

As a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Virginia is bilingual in English and Spanish, which strengthens her connection with diverse communities. She specializes in family, individual, and couples therapy, working with adults, adolescents, and children. Her clinical experience includes treating anxiety and depressive disorders, addressing domestic violence (both perpetrators and survivors), managing trauma, working with non-suicidal self-harm and suicidal ideation, and supporting clients through issues related to homelessness, substance use, and PTSD. Virginia utilizes an integrative behavioral health approach, collaborating with medical doctors and psychiatrists to provide holistic support.

In her role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Virginia is committed to helping clients navigate life's challenges, viewing mental health as an essential aspect of overall well-being. She values her role as part of a supportive team, working closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to promote stability and balance in Mental Health Care.
