Duties
We have an exciting opportunity for a Psychiatrist to join our team of professionals. The Psychiatrist will apply knowledge of theories and research in the evaluation of problems of mental disorder in adolescents and adults. Will assess patient behavior to identify normal and abnormal tendencies, problems and attitudes; will make recommendation on admission, transfer, discharge and therapeutic activities for patients. Will prescribe psychotropic medication as needed.

Requirements
Doctoral degree in medicine with specialization in Psychiatry from a recognized school of medicine. Must have a current clinical license to practice as a Psychiatrist in the state of California issued by the Medical Board of California. Current DEA license required. Candidates must possess essential personal characteristics and qualifications including: Scientific and professional integrity, patience, alertness, initiative, dependability, good judgment, tact, the ability to work cooperatively with others. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
