Vision Care Services We Offer
At Clinicas, we offer a wide range of Vision Care services at our Ventura County health centers across Ventura County. Each service below links to a page where you can learn more.
Vision Exams
Vision exams is the starting point for any eye care visit. The American Optometric Association recommends that adults get a comprehensive eye exam at least every two years, and yearly once you're over 60 or living with a condition like diabetes. Our optometrists check your visual acuity, eye coordination and overall eye health each time.
Prescriptions
Internal medicine is one of many services provided at Clinicas. If your exam shows you need corrective lenses, our optometrists will write you prescriptions for glasses or contacts that you can fill at Clinicas or take to an outside provider.
Contact Lenses
Should you rather switch to contact lenses, our team handles fittings and prescriptions for contact lenses as part of our optometry services.
Glaucoma Testing
Glaucoma testing screens for elevated eye pressure and early signs of optic nerve damage. Because glaucoma often has no symptoms early on, regular screening is the primary way to catch it before vision loss sets in.
Diabetic Retinopathy Testing
If you're living with diabetes, your risk of retinal damage rises with time. Diabetic retinopathy testing allows our optometrists to monitor your retinal health and refer you for further care if needed.
Ophthalmology Referrals
When your eyes need care beyond what optometry can offer, our team arranges opthalmology referrals to connect you with the right specialist.
