Rosa Pascual, OD, is the Optometry Director and an Optometrist at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc., where she provides expert eye care and oversees the Vision Care Services across the organization. A proud graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, in Santa Barbara, California, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences before pursuing her optometric education at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. There, Dr. Pascual achieved a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and a Doctor of Optometry.
As a skilled Optometrist, Dr. Pascual provides comprehensive patient care, including specialty contact lens fittings and advanced management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma and dry eye. Certified in therapeutics, lacrimal procedures, and glaucoma management by the California State Board of Optometry, she combines her clinical expertise with a compassionate approach to patient care. Her doctorate research explored the relationship between age and dry eye, deepening her understanding of this common condition.
In her leadership role, Dr. Pascual directs the Vision Care department at Clinicas, ensuring high standards of care, developing clinical protocols, and mentoring the optometric team. She is dedicated to expanding access to Vision Care and addressing the diverse needs of Ventura County’s patient population.
Born in Mexico and raised in Somis, California, Dr. Pascual is bilingual and bicultural, allowing her to connect meaningfully with her community. Since joining Clinicas in 2002, she has enjoyed serving patients from all backgrounds. Outside of work, she values spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, and hiking.
