We have an exciting opportunity for a Psychiatrist to join our team of professionals. The Psychiatrist applies knowledge of theories and research in the evaluation of problems of mental disorder in adolescents and adults; assesses patient behavior to identify normal and abnormal tendencies, problems and attitudes; makes recommendation on admission, transfer, discharge and therapeutic actives. Establishes rapport with patients and evaluates psychiatric and psychological data. Analyzes situations accurately and takes effective action for the wellbeing of the patient. Prescribes psychotropic medications as needed. Serves as a consultant within the facility or to other agencies and groups. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with other personnel and community groups.
