About the Role 

Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. is seeking a mission-driven Staff Optometrist to join our dedicated team in Oxnard. This is an exciting opportunity to practice full-scope medical optometry in a well-equipped, community-focused Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). You’ll care for a diverse, underserved patient population and collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide comprehensive eye exams and medical optometry services 
• Diagnose and manage ocular disease and visual disorders 
• Co-manage post-operative cases and refer patients to specialty services as needed 
• Fit glasses and contact lenses 
• Deliver patient education and promote eye health 
• Document all patient encounters using EPIC EHR 

Qualifications 

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited school 
• Active license from the California State Board of Optometry 
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (or willingness to learn) 
• Comfortable seeing a high patient volume (16–17/day) 
• Tech-savvy and familiar with modern diagnostic equipment (OCT, visual fields) 
• Friendly, flexible, and team-oriented personality

Compensation & Benefits 

• Competitive salary: $145,000 – $160,000
