Duties
The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the day to day operations of the Outreach Division within the Health Education Department. This includes enhancing promotion of the Migrant HIV Early Intervention Project, clinic services, community health education and access to medical programs. Candidate will supervise Community Health Outreach Workers, They will maintain a current knowledge of the following assistance programs: Healthy Families, Medi-Cal, PCIP, CalFresh, ACE and AIM Performs other duties as assigned, including participation in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.

Requirements
The Outreach Coordinator must have minimum of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum  two(2) years experience in community health education, case management and supervising outreach staff.  Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills; Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, Presentation skills,  a high degree of organizational skills,  ability to take initiative and work independently;  Must demonstrate working knowledge of various computer software programs such as Word, Excel, Publisher, Adobe and internet search engines. The ability to speak both Spanish and English is required. Working Knowledge of indigenous Mixtec cultural norms is preferred.
