Under the direct supervision of the Facility Maintenance Manager or a Senior Facility Maintenance Coordinator, the Facility Maintenance Coordinator (FMC) will perform a variety of maintenance functions at Clinicas’ various locations. Works collaboratively, as well as independently in fulfilling the needs of the organization and contributing to the success of the department. Interacts with a multi-cultural population of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, levels of education and ages.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The FMC’s duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Conducts daily maintenance, repairs, and inspections and clean up.
Responsible for the assembly, placement and storage of all office furnishings and equipment, including wall hangings, etc.
Responsible for basic repairs and upkeep of plumbing such as, unclogging toilets and drains; makes minor repairs; paint touch-ups of exterior/interior walls and is responsible for maintaining corporate vehicles.
Uses hand tools and power tools such as hammers, levels, drills, power saws, etc.
Drives trucks or other vehicles to or at work sites.
Communicates with managers on the status and needs of each location.
Interacts in a professional manner and works collaboratively Clinicas’ staff and patients.
Perform other duties as assigned including participation in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum one year of experience in similar or related field.
Must be able to take direction and follow through on assigned projects.
Must be able to organize, prioritize and work independently.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
