Duties
The Director of Analytics and Business Intelligence (Director) will be responsible for accelerating the pace of digital innovation at Clinicas with high-impact actionable insight generation through analytics. This individual and their team will be responsible for planning and executing analytics supporting digital adoption of the Clinical, Operational, and Financial functions across the organization and communicating to various stakeholders. The Director will partner with the key stakeholders and utilize data to identify opportunities to increase patient visits by demonstrating that Clinicas is the neighborhood provider of choice for quality and cost-effectiveness. The Director will also identity opportunities to leverage various channels and assess effectiveness of marketing and outreach programs by working with different teams to design and validate various initiatives. Additionally, this individual must function as a highly effective leader in a matrix environment given the role of serving stakeholders on a departmental and corporate wide basis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Director of Analytics and Business Intelligence will supervise a team that provides analytical expertise for the organization. The Director will spend a large portion of their time performing statistical analysis based on healthcare market knowledge and research expertise. They will identify patterns based on aggregate data to find risks or opportunities, as well as make performance change recommendations. The Director will be responsible to create forecasts using analytical information and results, compare sets of data to optimize resource allocation, and support business development through the use of complex data. The Director must follow company procedures to reach all established goals. The tasks involved include but are not limited to the following: • Manage a team of analysts, assigning schedules, and projects. • Collaborate with executives and other departments to identify and meet information needs, improving documentation workflows and limiting the use of unstructured data from Electronic Health Records (EHR). • Reallocate analyst time away from data collection and onto analysis and action for quality improvement. Analyze and validate findings, creating reports, presentations, and visualizations to showcase the performance of the Health Centers, Departments and/or Providers. • Shift information from punitive to empowering by letting users see how to improve their performance at the actionable patient level. • View baseline performance and track progress toward improvement goals. Target the areas of greatest opportunity. Identify top performers and harvest best practices. Use baseline benchmarking to drive measurable improvement. • Improve care team efficiency and focus resources on the patients in greatest need of intervention, and grow each Health Center’s ability to see patients when they need to be seen. • Identify best practices and benchmark for improvement to manage population health. • Develop, implement, and disseminate metrics about quality, performance and outcomes based on all regulatory requirements such as UDS, HEDIS, OSHPD, NCQA-PCMH, Joint Commission-PCMH, Meaningful Use, QI Projects and other initiatives. Drill down to Health Center, Department, Provider and patient levels to see where we stand. Make mid-course corrections to optimize our performance long before submission dates. • Assure sustainability using data to empower providers and staff to handle the challenges of Patient Centered Medical Home, Pay for Performance contracts, and Accountable Care Organizations and develop evidence-based guidelines. • Performs other duties as assigned including participation in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.

Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in a related field required; MBA preferred. • Eight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience required. • Demonstrated strength in leading an analytics team, conducting data-driven analyses to solve business problems ideally in marketing disciplines, customer research, attribution analytics, digital analytics and online-offline modeling. • Strengths in structured and logical thinking, problem solving, issue resolution, and attention to detail. • Ability to generate insight from complex analytics and make digestible to the masses. • Curiosity and entrepreneurial with the ability to set a vision, orchestrate a process to execute on that plan, and influence and inspire others. • Strong planning, organizational and process management skills. • Expert in presenting recommendations in a clear and concise way to “tell a story” with data. • Experience leading cross-functional teams including non-reports. • Proven ability to collaborate broadly with flexible, positive attitude and ability to get results. • Technical Skill requirements: a) Business Intelligence (BI) Tools: SQL Reporting Services, Microstrategy, Cognos, Tableau, SAS, SPSS and/or R b) Web Analytics Tools: Google Analytics, Webtrends, Omniture, Coremetrics o Expert skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; With the ability to use advance features such as pivot tables and design templates c) Proficient in designing/building data warehouses and/or experience with the deployment of reporting/dashboard solutions from the ground-up.
