Duties
Under the general supervision of the Director of Data Analytics, the analyst will manage and coordinate a variety of projects within Clinicas with a particular emphasis for delivering easily accessible trending reports for Meaningful Use, PCMH, HEDIS, OSHPD, UDS, registry and clinical quality improvement initiatives. The analyst will interpret, evaluate, inter-relate research data, and develop integrated business analysis and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making The Business Analyst will be responsible for the following: • Assist with implementation and support of business data management systems across multiple departments • Work with development team to create processes for analysis of clinical, finance, and operation data • Work with development team to create visualization dashboards and reports • Translate requirements into new business intelligence project specifications • Define, analyze, and document business processes • Support and identify healthcare improvement opportunities and cost saving • Capture key analytics, conduct care and performance analysis, and analyze cost for care and patient health outcomes • Develop and share reports that enable clinical, operation, customer service, finance, and outreach managers to make better business decisions by understanding health centers performance, patient geography, risk, and cost of care • Prepare high level user documentation • Ensure that business data and reporting needs are met • Develop and monitor data quality metrics • Work with managers, executives, and clinicians so the right analytics queries are performed • Manage the meaningful use project by ensuring that all eligible providers are updated and reported by the required deadlines and working closely with IT and all regulatory agencies to assure that data and information required for payment is received • Assist with the generation and submission of operational and regulatory reports or projects including but not limited to: 1. First 5 Quarterly Report 2. Gold Coast Health Plan Initial Health Assessment 3. Coordination of Grants 4. IMPACT Quarterly Report 5. HEDIS 6. Assist in invoicing of HIV dental program 7. Annual OSHPD and UDS reports with drilldowns by Health Center, department, provider, staff and patient levels 8. PCMH with drilldowns by Health Center, department, provider, staff and patient levels • Compose correspondence and memos as needed. • Performs other duties as assigned, including participation in all safety and compliance programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.

Requirements
Qualifications: • Project coordinator experience with previous experience in healthcare desired • 2 years in application development support with proven analytical experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required • Ability to articulate an appropriate course of action based on reading standard project documentation • Ability to develop and document a work plan and estimate effort required to complete the work • Able to document requirements and testing documentation • Possess good understanding of relational database concept • Able to or willing to learn how to write database queries (T-SQL) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to prioritize multiple projects without compromising desired timelines • High level of independent judgement • Proficient in MS Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Pivot Table, PowerPoint, Visio) • Must be proactive and assertive with ability to drive projects • Must have a strong sense for accuracy and detail • Ability to learn fast and execute accordingly • Open-minded and can react to change with agility Required education: • Must have a high school diploma, Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred
