Richard Hu, MD, is a board-certified Pediatrician at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine degree and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBBS) from Siddhartha Medical College in India and completed his pediatric residency training at Henry Ford St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. During residency, he served as Chief Resident, demonstrating a strong commitment to leadership, medical education, and high-quality patient care.

With a passion for helping children and adolescents thrive, Dr. Hu provides comprehensive Pediatric Care with special interests in asthma management, ADHD, adolescent health, and preventive medicine. His experience caring for diverse and underserved patient populations has reinforced his dedication to improving healthcare access and addressing health disparities within the communities he serves. He is committed to ensuring every child receives compassionate, evidence-based care in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Building strong partnerships with families is central to his approach to care. By encouraging open communication and providing education tailored to each family's needs, he strives to empower parents and caregivers to make informed decisions about their child's health. Fluent in English, Telugu, and Hindi, he values culturally responsive care that helps patients and families feel respected, understood, and supported. Outside of medicine, he enjoys exploring new cafés, cooking, baking, playing soccer, and listening to music.
