Isaac Zamora, AMFT, is a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. Isaac began his professional journey at Santa Barbara City College, where he earned four Associate of Arts (AA) degrees in Psychology, Arts and Humanities, Math and Science, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. He then attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with double minors in Central American and Chicano/a Studies and African American Studies. Following his time at UCLA, Isaac pursued graduate studies at Pepperdine University, earning a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy with Latino/a/x Communities.
Isaac is skilled in treatment planning, group facilitation, crisis management and de-escalation, substance abuse, bereavement support, and more. He brings not only experience but also deep compassion to his role at Clinicas. He believes in providing empathetic, holistic therapeutic care that promotes healing and emotional well-being. As an AMFT, he focuses on helping patients develop healthy coping mechanisms while honoring their unique experiences and fostering emotional resilience.
Through his personal and professional journey, Isaac has developed a passion for providing culturally responsive and trauma-informed care to individuals navigating complex challenges. His life experiences have taught him the importance of meeting people where they are. He is committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healing process.
