Susan Walin, PA-C, is a seasoned Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Family Medicine, who is dedicated to delivering quality healthcare to the diverse patient population of Ventura County. Since joining Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. in August 1994, she has been instrumental in both patient care and clinical operations.

Susan earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology (pre-med) from Weber State University in Ogden, UT, and completed her PA training at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, CA. Upon completion of her PA program, she joined Clinicas and has never looked back.

At Clinicas, Susan provides Primary Care services to patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. Susan performs physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating treatment plans, and prescribing medications. Susan is skilled in procedures such as Pap smears, toenail removals, incision and drainage of abscesses, and minor suturing. She is also involved in the Safety/Environment of Care Committee, and the Clinical Leadership Committee, and serves as the Impact Program Champion at Clinicas. Susan leads mid-level providers in Quality Assurance meetings where she helps develop and update policies and procedures for other PAs. Susan is dedicated to patient education on smoking cessation, nutrition, contraception, and preventative healthcare.
