Ishita Patel, MD is a pediatrician who is deeply committed to the well-being of children. Dr. Patel holds a special interest in fostering strong connections with families as their children grow, with a vision to nurture strong, healthy, and productive children. She aims to have meaningful relationships with families and to support patients and parents through the various stages of childhood.

 Dr. Patel began her journey into pediatric medicine In Maharashtra, India. There she attended Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Medical College, where she received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2017. She then pursued her residency at East Tennessee State University from 2019-2022. There she specialized in pediatric medicine and developed a deep understanding of child health and development. 

Dr. Patel joined Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. in 2022 and has been a vital part of our pediatric team ever since! Clinicas is incredibly proud to have Dr. Patel as a provider. Dr. Patel is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati thus allowing her to help and connect with patients all across Ventura County. Dr. Patel holds a special interest in breastfeeding medicine and promoting early reading habits, believing in the profound impact of these practices on child health and development. Through her advocacy and guidance, Dr. Patel strives to instill a lifelong love of reading and promote holistic child health and development in her young patients.
