PACE Director Essential Duties and Responsibilities •
The PACE Director is responsible for the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. PACE Site Operations. This position plays a key leadership role, interacting with all levels of Clinicas PACE staff, members, providers, community agencies, health network management, legal counsel, Executive staff, and State and Federal representatives.
Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Manages the operations/development/implementation of the PACE program site operations, including working with other departments and outside agencies.
• Provides effective leadership by coordinating and integrating services with other departments as well as outside providers/entities.
• Monitors and controls the budget including processes to monitor operational and capital costs
. • Responsible for implementation of contracted provider agreements.
• Monitors and evaluates the results of programmatic operations against established objectives, quality assurance/service standards and budget/other financial criteria and reports and submits performance plans.
• Ensures PACE Center sites are operating in compliance with all governing regulations and all other applicable regulatory authorities and protocols.
• Ensures the delivery of all participant services/programs are in compliance with State and Federal rules and requirements.
• Provides leadership in hiring of PACE staff, including determining qualifications, competence, and performance expectations; planning, implementing and monitoring of staffing plans; providing orientation and training and continuing education.
• Evaluates performance of employees for compliance with established policies and objectives of the organization and contributions in attaining objectives.
• Helps set the tone of the department to ensure morale, team work, and that the positive employment culture of the organization is maintained.
• Regularly schedules leadership/management, department, and staff one on one meetings to provide leadership, development, and a forum for communication to ensure coordination and collaboration in meeting organization and individual goals
. • Establishes and sustains an advocacy role at the local, state, and national levels for community health centers and the patients they serve. • Other projects and duties as assigned.
