Duties
Performs more responsible auxiliary patient care functions utilizing board knowledge in the techniques, methods, procedures and equipment required in support the professional staff. Performs urine test and dressing changes. Makes patient observations and records unusual conditions or behavior utilizing judgment. Participates in developing nursing card plans, conditions or behavior utilizing judgment. Provides patient counseling, assists in examinations and performs a variety of additional clinics functions.
Requirements
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Graduate from a Medical Assistant Program., 1 -2 years work experience in Lieu of formal training, Must have a current C.P.R. card, phlebotomy certificate and able to administer immunizations. Bi-lingual Spanish/English is required.
