The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire recruitment process within an organization, including identifying staffing needs, developing hiring strategies, sourcing top talent, conducting interviews, managing candidate relationships, and ensuring a positive candidate experience, all while aligning with the company's overall talent strategy and employment branding initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Manager will build strong talent pipelines to satisfy Clinicas Del Camino Real’s current, as well as future, hiring needs. The Talent Acquisition Manager reports to and works under the general direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for performing the following duties:
- In collaboration with the CHRO creates and implements workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies that align with Clinicas needs.
- Drives the full spectrum of recruiting, selection and onboarding strategies.
- Conducts full-lifecycle management sourcing, including resume review, phone screening, and interview coordination for a wide range of management roles.
- Manages partnerships with alumni associations, colleges and job boards in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of various types of recruiting strategies, resources and media and identifies when each can be most effectively employed.
- Employs digital strategies for recruitment and uses social networking as a tool for proactively reaching candidates.
- Utilizes expert skills to quickly screen and accurately assess an individual’s experience, range of knowledge, skills and level of competence.
- Works closely with hiring managers at all levels to ensure position requirements are clearly identified and reflective of the needs of their unit.
- Keeps up-to-date in hiring and labor market trends.
- Defines and drives team to meet and exceed hiring benchmarks, i.e. time to accept, candidate satisfaction, hiring manager satisfaction.
- Understands and follows both California and Federal employment law.
- Works with Talent Acquisition (TA)Team on formulating employment offers, consults with CHRO as necessary.
- Provides supervision and mentoring to the TA Team.
- Designs and drives the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience.
- Identifies and partners with external providers as required to ensure hiring needs are met.
- Continuously looks for opportunities to improve talent practices.
- Looks for innovative ways to recruit talent.
- Collaborates with HR team on onboarding and recruitment strategies and plans.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including participation in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a recruiter.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an HR leader, preferably in recruitment.
- Healthcare and provider recruitment knowledge experience preferred.
- Skilled in coordinating advertising expenditures for cost effectiveness and quality is desired.
- Must be articulate, communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, ability to proactively and effectively handle multiple tasks.
- Working knowledge of US immigration laws affecting the legal right to work.
- Job requires some travel to various health centers, career fairs, schools etc.
- Experience managing employer branding initiatives and full cycle recruiting.
- Experience with HRMS, MS Office and digital media.
- Strong knowledge of various sourcing techniques/tools (e.g., professional platforms, social networks)
- Sound knowledge of all labor regulations.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with candidates as well as with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience with resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Exceptional team-management and leadership skills.
