Mona Heravi, DDS, has been a compassionate and skilled Dental Care Provider at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. since 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from California State University, Northridge, in Northridge, California, and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Heravi has extensive knowledge and experience in dentistry, allowing her to provide comprehensive care to her patients.

Dr. Heravi’s dedication to community service is evident through her extensive extracurricular dental experience. She has volunteered her services in various humanitarian initiatives, including providing molar root canal treatments, composite restorations, and surgical extractions for children in Haiti, as well as conducting oral exams and delivering oral hygiene education during the Special Olympics. Additionally, she volunteered to provide emergency Dental Care at the Union Rescue Mission in Skid Row, Los Angeles.

Fluent in both English and Farsi, Dr. Heravi effectively communicates with a diverse patient population, ensuring that each patient feels comfortable and understood. Her personal journey has significantly shaped her approach to dentistry; growing up in a family with dental phobia taught her that dentistry is not just about fixing teeth but about creating a warm and welcoming environment that patients look forward to visiting. One of her main goals is to undertake five humanitarian aid trips per year, providing dental care to underserved populations around the world. These experiences have opened her eyes to the challenges faced by many adults and children who lack access to healthcare.

Providing care at Clinicas allows Dr. Heravi to continue her mission of helping and educating patients. She strives to be the kind of provider she always wanted to have growing up, offering empathy, understanding, and high-quality care to those in need.
