Duties
Clinicas Del Camino Real, Inc. (Clinicas) has been providing quality primary and preventative health care services to the residents of Ventura County since 1971. We have an exciting opportunity for an Internist to join our team of professionals.
The Internist provides medical care to Clinicas patients and refers patients for ancillary or specialty services, when necessary for patients’ wellbeing. Supervises medical staff, which may include mid-level practitioners. Establishes medical policies and procedures and works closely with Administration in ensuring the delivery of effective primary health care. May represent Clinicas at community or health agency meetings.
Benefits
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of medicine and licensed to practice medicine in the state of California by the Medical Board of California. Current DEA license is required. Must have familiarity and experience in various fields of medicine; general medicine, family planning, normal and abnormal child development, ability to assess mentally disabling problems, nutrition, prenatal, postnatal and well-baby experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
