Duties
JOB OBJECTIVE The IT Project Manager is to develop plans and oversee the implementation of Health Information Technology (HIT) projects and other Information Technology (IT) projects under the direction of the Chief Information Officer.  The IT Manager will adhere to and promote compliance with the organization’s IT policies and procedures and align projects with the business’ strategic goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages IT projects and programs from planning and development to production; defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment; defines resources and schedule for project/program implementation; creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning; plans and schedules project deliverables, goals and milestones; oversees IT implementation and manages conflicts within group; efficiently identifies and solves project issues; defines requirements for project risk; develops Requests for Proposal (RFP) for external services; develops and maintains technical and project documentation; executes strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills. Performs other duties as assigned including participation in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.

Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or related field. A Masters degree in Information Technology Management or equivalent is preferred. A minimum of  3-5 years of experience in IT Management and a minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating and supporting IT business processes. Project scheduling and budgeting experience is required. Must demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; understand the needs of non-technical staff and have the ability to function in a collaborative and supportive environment; demonstrate sensitivity towards others; high integrity. Must practice excellent judgment, have the ability to conceptualize and launch multiple projects simultaneously.
