Mariana Villanueva Lenero, MD, is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. She earned her Medical Degree from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Monterrey, Mexico, and completed a research fellowship in Reproductive Medicine before pursuing her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Health/McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas. 

Throughout her career, Dr. Villanueva has provided comprehensive women's healthcare, including preventive gynecologic services, pregnancy care, and reproductive health services. Her professional experience includes serving, as well as participating in breast and cervical cancer screening programs and community health initiatives focused on expanding access to care. She is passionate about evidence-based medicine and is committed to helping women achieve their healthiest outcomes through every stage of life. 

As a bilingual provider fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Villanueva values building meaningful connections with her patients and ensuring they feel heard, respected, and involved in their healthcare decisions. She believes that medicine is not only about clinical expertise but also about listening and partnering with patients to create personalized care plans.
