Melody Grimmett, MSN, FNP-BC, is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc., dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals and families. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Los Angeles County Medical Center School of Nursing, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She then completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization at the University of Phoenix.
Her approach emphasizes respect, clear communication, and meeting patients where they are to ensure they feel supported and empowered in their health journey. With extensive experience in Urgent Care and Family Medicine, Melody has provided evaluation and treatment for both adult and pediatric patients, managing emergency medical needs with skill and compassion. Her clinical expertise includes procedures such as incision and drainage, foreign body removal, laceration repair, splinting fractures, wound and burn care, pelvic exams, and joint reductions. She combines technical proficiency with a deep commitment to dignity and respect for every patient.
Melody believes in listening first, acting decisively, and treating every patient as she would a member of her own family. Outside of medicine, she enjoys exploring California’s trails, gardening, visiting farmer’s markets, and spending time with her husband and being a dog mom. These roles remind her daily of the importance of love, patience, and balance in life and practice.
