I grew up in the Midwest and completed dental school as well as a General Practice Residency there, which really helped to shape my perspectives on providing health care. A big concern for me is ethics and I am dedicated to respecting the trust that my patients place in me. It is also important to me to provide high quality dental care that can help to restore a patient’s health for long-term results in a manner that is as comfortable for my patients as possible. Outside if dentistry, my personal hobbies include aerial hammock, motorcycling, as well as traveling.

I have been living and practicing in the Santa Clara Valley for 20 years. I am happy to have joined Clinicas’ team to continue caring for patients in the Ventura County area. I enjoy taking care of women for their prenatal care, deliveries and seeing their children as they grow. I try to work with diet and exercise as well as medication to improve chronic medical problems like diabetes, hypertension and bone and joint problems.

After completing my initial medical training in India, I moved to the United States seeking to obtain an education that would enable me to provide my patients with the best possible care. I feel fortunate that my work allows me to impact the life and health of children and thereby shape the future of our world. At each visit, I strive to build relationships with children and their families so we can work together towards the common goal of optimal health for their child. I value the time I spend with families and hope that at the end of clinic visit with me they have a full understanding and feel that their thoughts were listened to and their concerns addressed.
I have a special interest in locally applicable global health and have graduated from the Global Health Track at the University of Minnesota. This has given me the training and knowledge to provide care to populations with diverse backgrounds. I believe that each child and family is unique and aim to provide culturally sensitive care that caters to the individual needs of the family.
My husband and I love to travel – we are focusing on national parks this year and have covered 7 so far and are looking forward to more adventures. When I have the time, I enjoy cooking and trying new cuisines. I also have a newfound love for gardening and am experimenting with flowering plants. Watching my plants bloom is such a fulfilling feeling!
